I needed a chainsaw to cut up a downed pine tree in my backyard, which was the result of the October Nor'easter of last month. I had read the reviews in this column before I placed the order. I recieved the chainsaw one week later. It was my first chainsaw. I had to get a quart of chain bar oil in the local Loew's and then I was ready. It is rather heavy and gave me quite a workout with the tree. I have no issue with it and it worked out just fine. For a beginner Chainsaw, this is a good one and I definitely recomemnd it. It is just about OK for the tree size I was dealing with, about 12" at the base.

Had previously owned 24" and 12" gas chain saws over the past 35 years. Got tired of broken starting coils and ropes, expensive tune-ups, and repairs. This 16" electric chain saw works great on anything 6" in diameter or smaller. Haven't attempted anything larger at this point, however, if you take your time and let te saw do the work, I'm sure it would cut through larger diameter branches/logs without much of a problem. I love the easy chain-tensioning knob which also facilitates removal and changing of worn out chains. At this low price this thing is almost disposable; however, based on it's construction, I believe it will last a long time. This is a great value for medium-sized tree trimming jobs around the house.

I needed a chain saw after the Halloween weekend blizzard in the Northeast. I was specifically looking for an electric saw and no stores in the area had saws of any type left. Bought this baby and had it delivered overnight. It cut through huge oak limbs in no time and had the yard cleaned up in a few hours. Excellent machine!

I bought this iron for my 9 year birthday girl. She wanted to be able to cook something on her own. It is excellent machine and we all enjoy using it. My nine years old takes less than an hour to make a treat for her little friends without me even getting into kitchen.
The reciepes are easy and delicious and the taste is wonderful. Much better than regular waffles, we do enjoy. I think, it is the best gift I ever gave to my kid.

I use a pizzelle dough recipe and they are delicious. You have to place the dough toward the back of the cookie iron imprint as it spreads forward during the cooking process. I cook each set between 45 and 60 seconds. I like my cookies to have a bit of brown to them. I'd definitely recommend this maker for the baker in your family.

The griddle works wonderfully. I used to make these with my grandmother on the stove and it was so tricky to get everything set just right. This one works like a charm with a very small learning curve in the beginning to figure out how much dough to put on. And a messed up Krumkake just means you get to eat it while you try again! I loved being able to make two at once. SUCH a time saver. My grandma just can't believe how nice it is and how much simpler it is to use than the original irons.

I bought this headgear to replace an older Adidas adiStrike set that was wearing out. I've been using headgear while training Gracie Jiu-jitsu. I had two main issues with the adiStrike that I hoped to address with the CK Tornado: uncomfortable chin strap and headgear slippage.

On the chin strap comfort, the CK Tornado definitely fits the bill. They provide a piece of coated foam that has curved cutouts in the middle. For someone like me, with a pronounced adam's apple, this greatly improves the comfort. That said, it's also a bit slippery and must be worn tighter than I'd prefer. The first sparring session that I wore it resulted in pretty good chaffing of the chin as I didn't secure it well enough (or so it seems).

On the issue of headgear slippage I've been rather disappointed. The adiStrike had fabric over the ears, which seemed to keep things in place better (I'd read several reviews of it where people complained of slippage). The CK Tornado, in contrast, has plastic-coated foam padding around the ears, which is very comfortable, but slips a lot once the sweat starts pouring out. I've had to readjust the 4 velcro straps several times to try and address the problem.

Along these lines, another major issue is that the velcro doesn't seem to hold very well. More than once it's pulled apart (once on the chin strap, a couple times on top) in the middle of sparring. Part of this is likely due to the additional friction caused by Gi contact, but it's still nonetheless a bit disappointing. I'll continue to tweak it, but at the current rate I will probably look at replacing this headgear with the CK Twister to see if it performs better.

To summarize: it's comfortable headgear, but definitely not slip-free, which leads me to not fully endorse it, at least not for Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

My son wrestles with this head gear and he likes it very much. It is cooler and stays cleaner. But the snaps break too easily. However, Walmart carries a 5/8" snap repair kit $3.99 in their sewing section. Basically the snaps work like a rivet. The hardest part will be getting the old broken snap off. I used a Dremel tool with a thin cut off wheel on it.

I was looking for something that would keep me in my seat. The belt in my car only locks when it thinks it should, for example, going around a sharp turn. I'm smaller and find in the bigger seat I slide forward and it upsets my back. This easy to install device keeps my lower half locked in so I don't have to think about sliding forward.

Many cars offer a great deal of grip combined with seats that offer poor lateral support right off the dealer lot, and many enthusiasts upgrade the suspension and tires on already capable cars. This product installs quickly, is very well made, and securely plant your butt in the seat as advertised.
Update: After 6 moths of use it is clear this product was not ready for release. The cam lever is pressed onto a spring pin that runs through the cam. Move the lever, actuate the cam was the theory. Apparently CG was praying that making the hole too small for the pin would cause the spring pin to deform and sort of smoosh it's self stuck somehow and work for awhile. If you use it at all the pin gives up. Spring pins are not designed to do what CG is asking the spring pin in this devise to do. Coupled with getting a "new old" version at the time of purchase and the slider falling off all the time bumps this down to 0. Total Fail. Run. There are pleanty of threads on the interwebs that describe the issues I have had with this product.

The minus 2 stars is due to the fact that the release "slide" does not work. There are detents formed into the rail that the "slide" slides in that are designed to provide a easily felt released position. They are far to small to work and the slide simply comes off when one tries to release the CG Lock for adjustment. This does not keep the product from working- it does tighten securely with the slider in the forward position. What you end up with is a second part to keep track off that is critical to the function of the the device. If you lose track of the slider then you will be back to the default function of your seatbelt with a clunky piece of metal doing nothing attached to your seat belt.

It looks to me as if there is a revision of the product on the market, although the website and vendors are not plainly advertising the change. I bought the early (GC001) version for $50 shipped from R/A hoerr. I could have bought the same version shipped from CG for $37.70- it appears to me that they are quietly clearing out old stock at the expense of consumers and the benefit of themselves and their vendors. That passes for the American Way these days.

The new version (1-CGLock21) has a grey slider instead of the chrome one. I would suggest purchasing the newer version as I have a educated guess that the slider issue was resolved in the new revision.

I am going to keep the part I bought as I am satisfied with it's performance, but I am a little raw at being hoodwinked into buying "new old stock" at the same price as the latest revision of the CG Lock by R/A hoerr and CG lock.

I have owned this for two weeks and so far it has worked as advertised. It was an easy install, but the instructions were a bit confusing until I actually started installing the CG Lock.

I purchased for my Land Rover for off-roading and support for long trips. I have not tried it off-roading yet, but for everyday driving it has helped me in that it holds me snugly in the seat, allowing the seat to support my lower back instead of my body. I have had lower back surgery and sitting for long periods tends to irritate my back, and the CG Lock has decreased that discomfort immensely. Thanks for the great product!

This filter works great and I prefer it over the one that came with my Eureka vacuum. The original filter was very soft and papery compared to this one which is much more rigid and durable. I wash it after almost every use and it is easy to clean. Had it for probably about a year now and is still working great.

The Eureka washable and reusable filter is a great purchase! After the easy replacement of the old filter it was an immediate notice of better suction. Ran it for a few weeks and saw some build up on the filter so I emptied the bin removed the filter and hosed it out in the yard. A good stream with a lot of pressure cleaned the filter like new. I let it soak up a few hours in the sun to dry and tried it the next week with the same great performance! If you have the eureka vacuum you need this filter!

As with everything I've purchased at Amazon, it arrived on time. I didn't need a lot of bells and whistles, just simple everyday, surfing the internet, listening to my music and some work with documents. The EL1352-51 allows me to do all of that, quietly. unlike both of my previous computers, this one is silent. I looked at several different makes and models before purchasing and am very happy my decision. The price was great and again the service from Amazon will keep me coming back.

The characters on the quilt are too cute! The colors are also great. Because there are so many great colors it made it easy to chose accent items (curtains, pictures, etc) for the rest of the nursery. This set would work well for either a little boy or girl in case you don't know what you're having. The stitching on the quilt isn't fabulous, but I didn't really expect it to be. It doesn't look like it will fall apart after being repeatedly used/washed which is what matters to me.

I ordered this item for my laundry room that had limited space to use a floor style clothes dryer. This fit perfectly on the wall and it holds quite a bit of laundry to dry. When I had first read about the product and found out if was plastic; I was skeptical, but when others had said it was much stronger than it appeared, I took a chance and got it. They were right...it is much stronger than it seems to be and I made sure to mount it into studs to keep it even more sturdy.

I never used to pay this much attention to what shampoo I use. But recently whether it is the heat or what, my scalp started itching a lot. Now, I don't wash my hair every day, but on second day I am starting to have feeling that I have flees. So I've opted for more natural shampoo and it seems to work better. Its still not perfect but much better. I love the scent of it and as a matter of fact the conditioner reminds me a lot of my favorite parfum "Vanilla fields" by Coty, that I've used 10 years ago. Every time I use it, it brings me back. I love it.

I bought this as a baby shower gift. It's a super cute bag, and lives up to it's name being large enough to pack for a weekend trip. The only problem I had was that I couldn't find any of the prints my friend wanted. They rotate through prints each year and several prints from last year are pictured but are unavailable.

I absolutely love this bag...I have 6 kids and one on the way... 2 in diapers....one cloth the other disposables..once the new baby is born it'll be 2 in cloth.. :) I have plenty of room for everything i need and a bit more to spare...it's a bit on the heavy side but it is a huge bag so I can't expect this bag to weigh as light as a feather..I love that it has a really nice patterns..I always get compliments..I would recommend this bag to everyone with alot of kids or someone that likes to overpack (i like to over overpack) :) or someone that just wants a large stylish bag..The only down side is there really isn't a way to hang this bag over a stroller..but other than that i think it's a great bag!!

I used this bag when I took my 11-month-old on vacation that required a 12-hour plane ride. It fits everything we needed and I love how I can fill this bag and not have to worry too much about the weight because the canvas material is very light. While on vacation, I accidentally spilled juice on it so I had to wash the bag and hung it to dry under the sun, to my surprise, the bag looks as good as new after washing and drying. I didn't expect that from a lightweight-all fabric bag... i thought i would get a wrinkled, faded, deformed mess after the wash, haha!

I like everything about this python. I installed myself ona my honda passport with no problems. I also did it on my celica. It work from long range. Even from inside of The Mall Of America. It has a lot of feautures plus a lot of ad-ons. I love the remote control that you can custom change background light and its also rechargeable battery. If you are installing this python yourself make sure you get the "bitwriter" also so you can custom program. There are somethings that you cant change without bitwriter, like manual to automatic transmission, remote start runtime 1 min thru 60min door locks, and a lot more.

The Python 4203P is a great basic two-way system that has great range and excellent reliability. The remote itself is compact and not a bulky device to lug around. Installation requires a bypass module that can run up the cost but it remains a good value overall. Absolutely no problems in the first months of use and I dont anticipate any over the coming years.

Do not buy this auto start unless you intend to have it professionally installed. If you ever run into a snag and need some advice your only option is to find an online forum to use. Calling Directed's customer support will only give you the message, 'We are not allowed to advice consumers on installation procedures'. What kind of customer service is that!?!?! I will never be buying a Directed product again, neither should you.
